Spitfires TD314 & NH341 to Headline 2021 Battle of Britain Airshow
On March 5th 1936 Captain Joseph ‘Mutt’ Summers, chief test pilot at Vickers-Armstrong, took R. J. Mitchell’s Type 300 fighter aircraft for it’s first flight from Eastleigh airfield.
The new fighter’s name was confirmed as the ‘Spitfire’ on the 10th June, and a legend was born. 85 years later, we’re working on a very special flying display to commemorate the iconic Spitfire. Heading up the display will be the Aero Legends pair, TD314 ‘St George’ and NH341 ‘Elizabeth’ ..with many, many more to announced!
Remember! The Battle of Britain Airshow is pre-sale ticket admission only. Tickets are available now!
