Attending the Battle of Britain Airshow? READ ME

I am sure that you are as excited as we are about the upcoming 2021 Battle of Britain Air Show which we can CONFIRM IS GOING AHEAD on the 25th, 26th & 27th June at Headcorn Aerodrome. As an outdoor event we are confident that we have taken the right steps to ensure that we are able to comply with Government Guidance but as you can imagine this has taken quite a lot of effort to achieve.

The Battle of Britain Air Show has earned a reputation as a family friendly event and we aim to keep that ambience but we have made a number of changes to to ensure everyone’s safety.

Before attending the 2021 Battle of Britain Air Show, please read the following:

When does the show open?

The gates to the show will open at 10:00 with air displays commencing from 12:00 and running until 17:00. We politely request that guests who arrive at the show before 10:00 wait in their vehicles to ensure that no queues form at the entrance

Where do I go upon arrival?

Park in the respective carpark, noting that Spitfire Enclosure guests have a different car park to normal admission. Make your way to the entrance gate, again noting that Spitfire Enclosure guests have an admission gate in their carpark. To help you, a site map can be found here:

Are tickets available at the gate?

The 2021 Battle of Britain Air Show is strictly PRE-SALE ticket admission only. There will not be any tickets available on the gate. All remaining tickets are available on

Can I use my tickets from last year?

Tickets which were purchased for the June 2020 event (which was postponed to September due to Covid-19) may be used at the June 2021 event only if they were not used at the September 2020 event.

The June 2020 event was postponed and the dates released for the September event on 15th May 2020. Any tickets purchased after this date were for the September event which went ahead as planned. If you purchased your ticket after 15th May 2020, your ticket is not valid to be used at the June 2021 event.

Can I change the day I have booked?

Unfortunately not, we have a strict attendance cap due to Covid-19 and at this late stage to not have the tickets available to change booked days

Is there a carers concession?

Carers can gain admission to the show using a child ticket for the respective enclosure and must provide evidence of their carer status such as; a disability benefit award letter, Carer’s Allowance award letter or Blue Badge letter as proof of your caring role. If not available, a letter from the GP or social services could be used.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs can be bought to the event (no ticket required!) but must be kept on a lead throughout the event. Please remember that the event is going to very noisy and you should consider whether the event would be suitable for your pet.

Can I bring my own food and alcohol?

Care has been taken to ensure that the bars and food concessions are of a great quality and a fair price, therefore we politely request that you do not.
